NEW DELHI: The Chepauk DJ at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai took a playful dig at wicketkeeper-batter Jitesh Sharma following his dismissal on Friday. The moment unfolded during the 18th over of RCB’s innings when Jitesh, who had scored 12 off just six balls, including a four and a six, was walking back to the pavilion after being dismissed by CSK’s Sam Curran.
As Jitesh made his way off the field, the stadium DJ turned up the volume and played the viral song "Dosa, Idli, Sambar, Chutney," which was originally released in 2022 but has recently gained massive popularity, especially in meme culture.
