CHENNAI: The city traffic police have diverted vehicle traffic on one side of Periyar EVR Salai from Gandhi Irwin Bridge to Dr Nair Bridge in Egmore to facilitate the TWAD board officials who are installing a water pipeline.
However, vehicles headed from Dasaprakash to Chennai Central railway station can travel as usual. The vehicles headed from Chennai Central railway station to Dasaprakash can take left on Gandhi Irwin Bridge and proceed to Egmore railway station to take the ECR Salai through Dr Nair Bridge. These traffic changes will be effective from Friday to Monday.
