CHENNAI: The visitors to Besant Nagar, home to the famous Elliot’s beach, keep growing, but encroachments on the avenues have completely taken over the footpaths, forcing for pedestrians on to the road.
On the promenade and on Third Main Road the culprits are mostly big and mid-size restaurants most of which do not have a parking lot.
