Enovi Allen became the third horse to die at the 2026 Cheltenham Festival after suffering a collapse following the end of the Gold Cup on Friday.

Even sadder is the fact that Envoi Allen was scheduled to retire after the race as owners Cheveley Park Stud had made the announcement. He was a 12-year-old and had plenty of supporters throughout his career. He won three times at Cheltenham Festival, and he was a 10-time grade one winner.
