David Mullins expects the Irish domination to continue at the Cheltenham Festival this year, but admits English trainers also have strong hands in many of the big races.
The Grand National winning rider, who retired from the saddle in 2021, is happy that the meeting is staying at four days and not increasing to five and can't wait for the action to get under way.
He said: "Cheltenham Festival week is nearly here. I’ve really enjoyed the season so far but it always points to the big four days in March, thank goodness it’s still four and not five, and I can’t wait for the action to start Tuesday next week.
