The Cheltenham Festival, one of the highlights of the horse racing calendar, is upon us.
Thousands of punters are set to descend on the iconic race course to take in four days of action from Tuesday, March 15.
Many more will be following it all at home (or indeed in the office), as the runners and riders bid for glory in several high-profile races at Prestbury Park, including the world-famous Gold Cup.
Minella Indo won the most prestigious race in 2021 and will be bidding for a successive win this year.
Spectators were unable to enjoy the action in the stands in 2021 due to Covid-19 restrictions, so the return of fans this year has only heightened the anticipation around this year's festival.
Here's everything you need to know.
When does the Cheltenham Festival start?
The Cheltenham Festival begins on Tuesday, March 15, and runs all the way until Friday, March 18.
There are set to be seven races on each day, adding up to a total of 28 across the festival, with the first race on each day starting at 1.30pm.
When is the Cheltenham Gold Cup?
Each day of the festival will have different themes.
Tuesday is Champion Day, Ladies Day is pencilled in for Wednesday, while Thursday will be a celebration of St Patrick's Day.
The big one, the Gold Cup, will take place on Friday, with the showpiece race starting at 3.30pm.

Viewers can catch most of the action on ITV, which will air coverage from each day of the festival from 12.50pm up until 4.30pm - showing the first five races. You can also live stream the festival every day on ITV Hub through a range of devices, including laptops, smartphones and tablets.
