Chelsea vs Paris Saint-Germain LIVE
Chelsea’s Champions League campaign was brought to a brutal, unceremonious halt as Paris Saint-Germain romped to a 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge, taking the aggregate score to 8-2. The Blues dared to dream of an unlikely comeback after they lost the first-leg by an unrepresentative 5-2. Start well and score early in the home, and anything could be possible.
But their hopes of progression were brutally quashed by the European champions. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia beat Mamadou Sarr, the 20-year-old Champions League debutant, with uninhibited ease to slot the opener home after just six minutes to put the result effectively beyond doubt. Bradley Barcola followed up with a goal of his own just eight minutes later, leaving Chelsea trailing by five at half-time. The introduction of Josh Acheampong at half-time did little to inspire the listless Blues and Senny Mayulu smashed a third beyond Robert Sancehz midway through the second period.
Chelsea slowly grew into the tie and did their best to pull one back and rescue a scrap of honour, but they went confounded and exited Europe with a whimper in a mostly empty stadium - save for a lively away end. A dismal night was compounded in the dying moments as Trevoh Chalobah left the pitch on a stretcher with what appeared to be a serious injury. Catch up with the game as it happened below with our dedicated match blog, featuring expert insight and analysis from Dom Smith at Stamford Bridge.

21:48 , Arthur FerridgeThe referee puts Chelsea out of their misery.
Chelsea 0-3 Paris Saint-Germain (2-8 agg.)
21:47 , Arthur Ferridge89mins: You wonder if the referee will subject Chelsea to added time here, or just call it a day when we’ve played 90 minutes.
Chelsea 0-3 Paris Saint-Germain (2-8 agg.)
21:46 , Arthur Ferridge88mins: This match is just a procession towards full-time now. Chelsea battered and bruised, down one man and six goals. Where do they go from here?
Chelsea 0-3 Paris Saint-Germain (2-8 agg.)
21:43 , Arthur Ferridge86mins: Chelsea will finish the match with ten men with Chalobah now withdrawn.
Chelsea 0-3 Paris Saint-Germain (2-8 agg.)
21:42 , Arthur Ferridge84mins: Chelsea fans are streaming towards the exit doors as a stretcher is being readied to remove Chalobah from the pitch.
He, at 26 years old, is also one of the most experienced members of a seriously youthful squad.
Rosenior, meanwhile, is dispensing tactical advice to his players on notebook paper.
Chelsea 0-3 Paris Saint-Germain (2-8 agg.)
21:40 , Arthur Ferridge83mins: Chalobah is down and looks to be in serious pain here. He’s clutching at his right ankle - and Chelsea have already made all five substitutions!
Chelsea 0-3 Paris Saint-Germain (2-8 agg.)
21:37 , Arthur Ferridge79mins: Chelsea are very slowly improving and continue to ask questions of Safonov. Another signature Garnacho cut-in-and-shoot move is directed at the near post, but the Russian makes the stop again.
Chelsea 0-3 Paris Saint-Germain (2-8 agg.)
21:33 , Arthur Ferridge76mins: The fact that centre-back Trevoh Chalobah looks Chelsea’s brightest attacking spark at the moment should tell you all you need to know about the state of this performance.
Dom Smith at Stamford Bridge
21:31 , Arthur FerridgeChelsea still battling hard and looking for a way to deny PSG a clean-sheet. But in terms of a contest, that status was lost last week, in Paris...
Chelsea 0-3 Paris Saint-Germain (2-8 agg.)
21:31 , Arthur Ferridge73mins: Lee replaces Kvaratskhelia for PSG. Chelsea will be pleased to see the back of him. Just the three goals between the two legs.
Moments after the Georgian leaves the field of play, Caicedo fires wide of the post.
Chelsea 0-3 Paris Saint-Germain (2-8 agg.)
21:30 , Arthur Ferridge73mins: PSG have let off the gas considerably, but they are totally nonplussed by Chelsea’s attack. They’ve been gifted a greater share of possession but just do not look like scoring.
Chelsea 0-3 Paris Saint-Germain (2-8 agg.)
21:29 , Arthur Ferridge72mins: Chelsea’s elder statesman, the 28-year-old Tosin Adarabioyo, replaces Marc Cucurella.
Chelsea 0-3 Paris Saint-Germain (2-8 agg.)
21:28 , Arthur Ferridge70mins: Chalobah goes on a marauding run through the middle and plays Garnacho into space. He decides to cut in and is immediately caught up in traffic. Wasteful from the Argentine.
Chelsea 0-3 Paris Saint-Germain (2-8 agg.)
21:24 , Arthur Ferridge67mins: Delap is the latest to get a pot-shot off, once again Safonov stops it without complaint.
Chelsea 0-3 Paris Saint-Germain (2-8 agg.)
21:22 , Arthur Ferridge64mins: A rare error from PSG hands Garnacho a shooting chance, but Safonov does well to parry his effort.
Dom Smith at Stamford Bridge
21:21 , Arthur Ferridge61 mins and Stamford Bridge emptying out now. PSG make it 8-2 on aggregate as Mayulu just walks up to the ball and fires it into the corner, no questions asked. Plenty of questions will be asked of Chelsea after this. It's embarrassing.
GOAL! Chelsea 0-3 Paris Saint-Germain (2-8 agg.) | Mayulu '62
21:20 , Arthur FerridgeA loose ball falls to Mayulu at the edge of the box, and he lashes it beyond a rooted Sanchez. If it wasn’t already, the result is now well beyond doubt and there is a mass exodus at Stamford Bridge. There’s delays on the District Line, after all. May as well get a head start on the commute home.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
21:18 , Arthur Ferridge61mins: Pedro Neto breaks down the right and whips a cross in for Delap to poke goalwards, and he draws another good save from Safonov. He’s performed well tonight.
Dom Smith at Stamford Bridge
21:17 , Arthur FerridgeThe legs being saved for Everton now, after this defeat. Palmer, Joao Pedro and Fernandez all off. A handful of fans who've paid to be here understandably not happy.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
21:16 , Arthur Ferridge59mins: More bad news for Chelsea as Doue is on in place of Barcola.
Chelsea, meanwhile, replace Fernandez, Palmer and Joao Pedro with Lavia, Garnacho and Delap.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
21:15 , Arthur Ferridge58mins: It just isn’t happening for Chelsea here. They’re struggling to win the ball, and when they do, they’re struggling to do anything productive with it. Body language from the players, unsurprisingly, is suboptimal.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
21:14 , Arthur Ferridge57mins: Three changes are coming for Chelsea. Garnacho, Delap and Lavia are all getting stripped to come on. They presumably will replace Neto, Joao Pedro and Caicedo, but we’ll see.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
21:13 , Arthur Ferridge56mins: Cucurella fizzes a pass into the feet of Joao Pedro, who hesitates before shooting and eventually fires wide. Poor from the Brazilian.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
21:12 , Arthur Ferridge55mins: Caicedo’s ball over the top for Neto is easily cut out by Marquinhos and delivered back to Safonov.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
21:11 , Arthur Ferridge54mins: Chelsea are awarded a free-kick, and, just as Caicedo takes it, Barcola goes down in a heap. Unclear why or how, but the restart is delayed.
Dom Smith at Stamford Bridge
21:09 , Arthur FerridgeRosenior has just given instruction to Garnacho to ready himself to come on for Chelsea.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
21:09 , Arthur Ferridge51mins: Palmer hits the deck under pressure from Zaire-Emery and thinks he’s won a foul. He grabs the ball as he goes down and the whistle blows, but the referee has awarded a free-kick for the handball, rather than for the tackle.
Enzo Fernandez, meanwhile, is being told off for dissent.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
21:07 , Arthur Ferridge50mins: Doue is going through a spirited warm-up. Seems as though he may be coming on, news which will surely put a smile on the face of anyone wearing blue at Stamford Bridge this evening.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
21:05 , Arthur Ferridge48mins: Pedro Neto finds himself in behind and pulls one back for Fernandez, who is denied a shooting chance as Mayulu tracks back and picks his pocket. The Blues come back, though, with a certain level of intent as they look to salvage some scrap of honour from this match.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
21:04 , Arthur Ferridge46mins: Cucurella is dumped to the floor by Hakimi, gifting Chelsea a set-piece. They get it into the mixer, but PSG defend it fairly easily and manage a goal-kick.
2ND HALF: Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
21:03 , Arthur FerridgeBack underway here for a second-half which, at this stage, is a mere formality.
A change for PSG, too, as Mayulu replaces Neves.
Dom Smith at Stamford Bridge
21:00 , Arthur FerridgeNo real surprise that Rosenior has made that change. Sarr really struggled this evening.
Half-time changes
21:00 , Arthur FerridgeMamadou Sarr has been hooked after a chastening first-half. Welcome to the Champions League!
He will be replaced by Josh Acheampong.
Chelsea's night in a nutshell

HALF-TIME: Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
20:47 , Arthur FerridgeAnd there’s the break. When did Chelsea last score five in one half?
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
20:46 , Arthur Ferridge45mins: One added minute to end the first period.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
20:45 , Arthur Ferridge45mins: Spirited and half-credible cries for a Chelsea penalty after Mendes takes Joao Pedro down in the box, but the referee signals only for a goal kick.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
20:44 , Arthur Ferridge43mins: Another important stop from Safonov! He denies Hato’s header at his near post.
PSG counter at frightening pace and Barcola gets his shot away, but Sanchez makes himself big enough to deny the Frenchman.
Dom Smith at Stamford Bridge
20:43 , Arthur FerridgeTwo super saves from Safonov change the complexion of the tie not a jot but keeps PSG's clean sheet intact. Chelsea digging in here but the reality is they are out already.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
20:42 , Arthur Ferridge42mins: What a save! Palmer gets on the ball in the D, turns and dances into the PSG box. He gets a shot away, but Safonov does brilliantly to get down to it.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
20:39 , Arthur Ferridge38mins: To brighten the mood of any Chelsea fans, it appears Arsenal are on track to go through. Across London, Eze has put them 1-0 up (2-1 agg.) against Bayer Leverkusen.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
20:37 , Arthur Ferridge35mins: Kvaratskhelia faces up to Sarr and looks to sell him a dummy, but the Senegalese international stands him up.
He passes away and Sanchez eventually claims Joao Neves’ cross. Chelsea race away on the counter, and Joao Pedro, who was totally isolated, wins another corner, which is blown dead as the Blues are deemed to have fouled the PSG ‘keeper.
Dom Smith at Stamford Bridge
20:35 , Arthur FerridgeA rogue call from the home end of "GET ESTEVAO ON".
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
20:34 , Arthur Ferridge33mins: I wonder what’s going through Liam Rosenior’s head at the moment. He’s struggled to win the Chelsea fanbase over since arriving from Strasbourg, and, barring a spectacular turnaround, this result certainly will not help his case.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
20:33 , Arthur Ferridge32mins: Kvaratskhelia finds the back of the net for what could have been his fourth goal of this tie and his second of the first-half. Chelsea’s blushes are spared slightly by the offside flag, but it is scant consolation.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
20:32 , Arthur Ferridge31mins: The home fans are sarcastically celebrating every completed Chelsea pass with an ‘ole’.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
20:30 , Arthur Ferridge29mins: The match has the feel of a pre-season friendly already. Nothing at all to play for. PSG are passing around the back - all they really need to do is kill the next 60 minutes or so. Chelsea can barely be bothered to press, despite Enzo Fernandez’s vain attempts to liven his team-mates up.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
20:28 , Arthur Ferridge27mins: One wonders how Chelsea can salvage this tie, if at all. Their chances of progression are plainly shot to pieces. They could get a goal or two back, but would that paper over the cracks? This feels a pretty thorough humiliation already and we haven’t even reached the half-hour mark.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
20:26 , Arthur Ferridge25mins: Chelsea have hardly had a sniff so far, but, if nothing else, they have had several corners. Say all you want about the Premier League’s set-piece dominance - PSG have been more than equal to their hosts in that regard so far.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
20:24 , Arthur Ferridge23mins: Joao Pedro rises highest to meet a lovely cross from Palmer, but it is just barely too high for him and he cannot direct it goalwards.
Dom Smith at Stamford Bridge
20:23 , Arthur FerridgeThis is a PSG procession really. Chelsea were miles off it to begin with and are looking psychologically beaten already, unable to run that extra yard because of a brutal aggregate scoreline.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
20:22 , Arthur Ferridge21mins: Caicedo takes his frustrations out on Pacho with a needless late shoulder barge but gets away without punishment.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
20:20 , Arthur Ferridge19mins: Barcola pounces on a loose pass at the back and sends a cross into the Chelsea box, but Sanchez claims. The difference in class between these sides thus far has been... considerable.
Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.)
20:19 , Arthur Ferridge18mins: A little bit of spark from Chelsea here. Neto gets them forward and wins a pair of corners, but neither really concerns Safonov.
Dom Smith at Stamford Bridge
20:17 , Arthur FerridgeAll Chelsea need to do now is keep a clean-sheet from here and score a goal every 15 minutes, and that will be good enough for extra time.
GOAL! Chelsea 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (2-7 agg.) | Barcola '15
20:16 , Arthur FerridgeIf Chelsea weren’t yet dead or buried, they certainly are now. Barcola bends one beyond Sanchez to put PSG five clear on aggregate. This has the makings of a long old night for Rosenior and his team.
Dom Smith at Stamford Bridge
20:15 , Arthur FerridgeLiam Rosenior is unmoved on the touchline, while Luis Enrique is livid with his players, barking at them to get back into their positions. Chelsea are trailing by four, just in case that wasn’t clear.
Chelsea 0-1 Paris Saint-Germain (2-6 agg.)
20:14 , Arthur Ferridge13mins: Great effort from Neto, who volleys Chalobah’s knock-down goalwards, but it meets Andrey Santos first and goes behind for a goal-kick.
Chelsea 0-1 Paris Saint-Germain (2-6 agg.)
20:13 , Arthur Ferridge10mins: Palmer plays Pedro through and the Brazilian has his pocket picked by Hakimi. He goes down and appeals for the foul, but the referee is not moved.
Chelsea 0-1 Paris Saint-Germain (2-6 agg.)
20:10 , Arthur Ferridge8mins: A marauding run from Fernandez ends with a deflected shot, which wins a Chelsea corner. PSG are far from convincing with their clearance and there is some bizarre pinball in the box. The play is blown dead as Fernandez is adjudged to have pushed off his marker.
Dom Smith at Stamford Bridge
20:09 , Arthur FerridgeChelsea behind after six minutes in a game they needed to win by four goals and now need to win by five. A truly disastrous start. Sarr is caught out by Kvaratskhelia, who makes it 6-2 on aggregate.
GOAL! Chelsea 0-1 Paris Saint-Germain (2-6 agg.) | Kvaratskhelia '6
20:07 , Arthur FerridgeWell, that’s that, folks. We can all go home. Safonov pumps a long ball to Kvaratskhelia who takes advantage of Sarr’s inexperience. He beats his man far too easily and slots home beyond Sanchez.
Chelsea 0-0 Paris Saint-Germain (2-5 agg.)
20:04 , Arthur Ferridge3mins: Chelsea can hardly get near PSG thus far. The European champions are knocking it around with confidence, completely unfazed by the hostile atmosphere.
Chelsea 0-0 Paris Saint-Germain (2-5 agg.)
20:02 , Arthur Ferridge1min: Awkward start for Chelsea as Mendes breaks down the left flank and gets a low cross into the mixer. Both Sanchez and Hato go for it, the latter awkwardly sliding into his own keeper, but he does not spill it.
Incidentally, appears to be Mamadou Sarr at right-back rather than Trevoh Chalobah.
KICK-OFF! Chelsea 0-0 Paris Saint-Germain (2-5 agg.)
20:01 , Arthur FerridgeWe’re off at Stamford Bridge!
The Blues, obviously, are in blue, and the Parisians in head-to-toe scarlet.
The players are out
19:56 , Arthur FerridgeOur squads take to the pitch as that wonderful anthem plays over Stamford Bridge - after The Liquidator, of course. What an atmosphere in SW6.
We will be underway momentarily!
Team news reminder
19:50 , Arthur FerridgeTen minutes to kick-off. Here’s a reminder of tonight’s teams.
Chelsea XI: Sanchez; Chalobah, Sarr, Hato, Cucurella; Caicedo, Santos; Palmer, Enzo, Neto; Joao Pedro
PSG XI: Safonov, Hakimi, Pacho, Mendes, Marquinhos, Vitinha, Neves, Zaire-Emery, Kvaratskhelia, Dembele, Barcola
Kick-off fast approaching
19:47 , Arthur Ferridge

Around the grounds
19:47 , Arthur FerridgeSporting take the lead in the second minute of extra time! They lead Bodo 4-0 on the night, and 4-3 on aggregate!
Chelsea could take a leaf out of their book tonight. An early goal and anything could be possible...
Tonight's programme
19:45 , Arthur FerridgeRather awkwardly, the cover star of tonight’s matchday programme is none other than the recently injured Reece James.
Awkward one, that.
The full extent of Reece James's involvement tonight. Perils of matchday programme planning #CFC pic.twitter.com/i4cFAdljMm
— Dom Smith (@MrDomSmith) March 17, 2026
Around the grounds
19:40 , Arthur FerridgeA little ways south of Stamford Bridge, one three-goal comeback is already underway!
Sporting CP trailed Bodo/Glimt 3-0 after the first leg, but have forced extra-time after responding with a 3-0 win of their own.
One to keep an eye on! Will it go to penalties?
Worrying signs
19:40 , Arthur FerridgeRegardless of tonight’s result, Chelsea will make history.
In the best-case scenario, the Blues come from behind and progress with a win which will live long in the memory.
The worst-case, though, will see them set an ignominious club record. Per FotMob, they have lost three Champions League knockout matches on the bounce.
They have never lost four in a row, and stand to do exactly that for the first time tonight.
Dom Smith at Stamford Bridge
19:36 , Arthur FerridgeCole Palmer has just taken a bit of a kick from a teammate in a small-sided possession game in the pre-match warmup, which has him bouncing up and down in pain for a second, but he's good to carry on. Calum McFarlane leading it. Chelsea looking relaxed ahead of a game where they have an awful lot to do.
Kvaratskhelia earns a start
19:34 , Arthur FerridgeKhvicha Kvaratskhelia was rather the architect of Chelsea’s downfall in the first-leg.
He came off the bench with the match level at 2-2 and less than half an hour to play.
The rapid Georgian pulled an assist and a brace out of the bag late on as PSG pulled out a dominant advantage ahead of the second-leg.
Duly, he gets the nod at Stamford Bridge. Can he repeat the trick?
Dom Smith at Stamford Bridge
19:29 , Arthur FerridgeI make this quite a big night for Trevoh Chalobah's season. As a centre-back, I think he's probably been Chelsea's best this season. But his previous outing at right-back in that Leeds defeat did not go well at all. He's done a job there for Chelsea in the past, though, and needs to back himself to keep Bradley Barcola quiet tonight.
John Terry's good luck message
19:25 , Arthur FerridgeJohn Terry has given Chelsea a vote of confidence tonight.
He wrote on Instagram: “Magical things and moments have happened at the Bridge historically and as Captain I ALWAYS believed.
“Yes it will be difficult, but with our supporters and every single person believing we have a chance. Show me a chance and I will f****** take it.
“Napoli 2012, everyone wrote us off and we did it, and you boys can tonight. Good luck boys!”
Fan reaction: 'Not confident'
19:19 , Arthur Ferridge🔵 Chelsea XI vs PSG ⚫️
— JW (@JoeW192911) March 17, 2026
Back line doesn’t inspire much confidence, but Chelsea have to go for it. It’s about character, passion and desire. Big night for Liam Rosenior to respond and prove Stamford Bridge wrong. The performance matters just as much as the result. #CFC https://t.co/TbEJ861HHk
Reece James previews the tie
19:15 , Arthur FerridgeReece James may be out injured, but he is still the club captain and, thus, has written his programme notes.
Here’s an excerpt from tonight’s edition:
"We come into tonight's game knowing that anything is possible in the Champions League.
“I have seen some incredible things at Stamford Bridge in this competition, comebacks and results against the odds that make this club what it is and we have to believe that this can be another historic night for Chelsea."
Dom Smith at Stamford Bridge
19:08 , Arthur FerridgeIt's a back four that will frighten many Chelsea fans dreaming of what would be a truly remarkable comeback tonight.
James's injury and Gusto's illness has forced a rejig at right-back, where Chalobah plays for only the second time this season.
Sarr coming into centre-back for Fofana is no huge surprise after the latter's questionable form of late - but Hato at centre-back rather than left-back is, I must admit, a bit of a surprise call.
Big test for Chalobah
19:01 , Arthur FerridgeA huge test for Trevoh Chalobah tonight as he starts at right-back, where he will be tasked with keeping Bradley Barcola quiet.
This is just the second time this season that he has played at right-back.
His other start there was away at Leeds back in December, a match which Chelsea lost 3-1.
Liam Rosenior did no thave a huge amount of options, in fairness, but one wonders whether Josh Acheampong might have been a better option.
We shall see!
Look who's back!
18:54 , Arthur FerridgeEstevao is on the bench for Chelsea!
The young Brazilian returned to training this week having recovered from a hamstring injury, which has seen him spend the past few weeks on the sidelines.

Stamford Bridge at golden hour
18:36 , Arthur FerridgeThe Bridge is looking absolutely resplendent this evening in the west London sunset.

Chelsea predicted XI
18:30 , Arthur FerridgeLeaks aside, here’s how Dom Smith reckons Chelsea might line up this evening.
Chelsea predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Sanchez; Gusto, Chalobah, Hato, Cucurella; Santos, Caicedo; Palmer, Fernandez, Neto; Joao Pedro
Injured: James, Colwill, Jorgensen, Gittens
Doubt: Gusto

More from Rosenior
18:23 , Arthur FerridgeLiam Rosenior has also weighed in on Chelsea’s team news leaks - a worrying new phenomenon.
“I'll be really honest, I haven't even thought about (investigating the first-leg team news leak).
"It's not the first time it's happened, it won't be the last time. I'm not talking in terms of me, I'm talking about any team or any club.
"I'm focused on winning the game. I was focused on the Newcastle game.
"These things happen. It's disappointing but I'm sure it won't happen again.”
And yet, it happened again. How will Rosenior respond this time?
Talking point of the week
18:16 , Arthur FerridgeThe discourse surrounding this match has, of course, solely focused on what is truly important. The game’s most admired minds have been pondering the crucial question: Will Chelsea have a pre-match huddle tonight? And if so, where?
This follows a farcical moment ahead of Saturday’s defeat by Newcastle, where Chelsea huddled around referee Paul Tierney after he refused to vacate the centre-circle.
This rather ridiculous narrative has brought an odd scrutiny to the club. But what does Rosenior make of it?
He said on Tuesday: “I think in terms of the huddle, I think it's been blown out of proportion to be honest.
“It's a small, small thing amongst many, many serious things that we need to address, such as a massive game against PSG tomorrow.
“In terms of the huddle, the lads have always wanted to show unity and togetherness. I think they'll continue to do that.
“What we don't want to do is antagonise or bring the noise on ourselves. And we'll make the decision on where we do that on the pitch tomorrow.”
Chelsea team news leak
18:09 , Arthur FerridgeChelsea’s lineup was leaked ahead of the first-leg against PSG, and, sadly for Liam Rosenior, the same has happened here.
French outlet L’Equipe report Wesley Fofana has been dropped, with Jorrel Hato tipped to step up in his place.
Will that ring true? We will find out when team news is officially released at 6.45pm GMT.
Chelsea vs PSG preview: James injury blow forces Blues into season-defining rethink
18:02 , Arthur FerridgeChelsea have certainly had better starts to a week than this, writes Standard Sport’s Dom Smith.
In need of a pick-me-up after Saturday’s bleak 1-0 defeat at home to Newcastle, Monday was a another busy day in the never-dull world of Chelsea Football Club.
News Pedro Neto has escaped a ban for shoving a ball-boy and is consequently available for tonight’s Champions League last-16 second leg against Paris Saint-Germain was drowned out by the Premier League imposing its largest-ever fine, £10.75million, on Chelsea for illicit payments made to agents during the Roman Abramovich era. That was followed by news of a new hamstring injury that could keep Reece James out for weeks or even months.
It was that sorry story that hung in the air, though: a hammer blow in Chelsea’s attempt to somehow avoid their near-certain Champions League exit and even more so to their bid to land themselves a spot in the competition for next season in their final eight league games of the campaign.

Travel issues
17:55 , Arthur FerridgeIt wouldn’t be weeknight football at Stamford Bridge without issues on the Undergound.
A PSA to any supporters making their way to Fulham Broadway that there are presently severe delays affecting the District Line.
Standard Sport prediction
17:50 , Arthur FerridgeHeading to Paris for the first leg, Liam Rosenior made just two changes from the Chelsea side which beat PSG in the Club World Cup final, though the match ended with a very different scoreline.
Chelsea have shown twice in recent months that they can, at least, match PSG. They may well have come home with a level aggregate scoreline afte the first leg, if not for that late capitulation.
With the home fans behind them at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea will get right up for the occasion. Start well, and they could catch PSG out.
We expect the Blues to win inside 90 minutes, but overturning that three-goal deficit may prove too tall an order.
Chelsea to win, 2-1

PSG early team news: Fabian Ruiz still sidelined
17:45 , Arthur FerridgePSG, meanwhile, will be without Fabian Ruiz, who has been out since January.
Youngster Quentin Ndjantou is out for the season.
Joao Neves shook off an ankle injury to start the reverse fixture at the Parc des Princes.
Ousmane Dembele took on pre-match media duties, suggesting he will start tonight, though it wouldn’t be any great shock if that were the case.

Chelsea early team news: Reece James ruled out
17:40 , Arthur FerridgeChelsea were boosted ahead of the tie as Brazilian wonderkid Estevao returned to training, but it is a case of one in, one out as Reece James now finds himself sidelined with a fresh hamstring injury.
He is yet to undergo a scan, but the Blues stand to play without their captain for a matter of weeks.
His right-back understudy Malo Gusto is also a doubt for the match after falling ill this week.
Jamie Gittens is out after suffering a setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury.
Pedro Neto is available having avoided a one-match ban for shoving a ballboy in the first leg.
