Former Chelsea player Glen Johnson believes the Blues should make a move for Cristiano Ronaldo in the January transfer window after the forward has his contract with Manchester United terminated.
Speaking with Midnite, Johnson said: "I would take Cristiano Ronaldo at Chelsea for six months, absolutely. Ronaldo has been the second or third-best player we've seen in our generation. If Ronaldo wants to be back in the same rank as Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi or Neymar, he needs to improve."
Ronaldo left Old Trafford in disgrace after his controversial interview with Piers Morgan just before the World Cup began and the Premier League paused.
