Chelsea transfer news: Niklas Sule agrees to join Borussia Dortmund as Blues dealt blow

Niklas Sule Borussia Dortmund Chelsea Dortmund Bayern EPL Bayern Munich Bundesliga Newcastle

Niklas Sule has signed a pre-contract agreement with Borussia Dortmund.

The Bayern Munich defender's existing deal expires in June and he's decided to join their Bundesliga rivals, despite interest from two Premier League sides.

Chelsea were believed to be long-term admirers of Sule, 26, with manager Thomas Tuchel looking to bolster his defensive ranks ahead of next season.
