Chelsea are gearing up for a huge summer as they look to re-establish themselves as powerhouses in Europe.
Thomas Tuchel will look to make a significant stamp on the team, when a high number of players are expected to be targeted.
Chelsea know that they are behind the pack in terms of challenging for major trophies, currently sitting behind Liverpool and Manchester City in what looks like it could be another two-horse race for the Premier League title - both teams are the top favourites for the Champions League, too.
Chelsea fans will be hoping for a big summer in 2022, with reinforcements needed - and money to spend.
The Blues look increasingly likely like they're going to lose two of Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta this summer, who are all set to see out their contracts.
As well as adding defenders, Chelsea will look to bolster their squad depth.
With this all in mind, football.london takes a look at all the latest Chelsea transfer rumours- with the same name popping up, a return for a former Blue and a player who could be signed on a free transfer this summer.
Chelsea in Eden Hazard 'negotiations'
Radio Marca have provided the latest on where Roman Abramovich and co are at regarding potentially ending the club legends nightmare stay on the continent.
They have reported that Chelsea are in negotiations to sign Eden Hazard on loan this summer.
The 31-year-old, who has two-and-a-half years left to run on his Los Blancos contract, left the Blues in the summer of 2019 for the Spanish giants for a fee believed to be in excess of £100million.
A loan would mean that Florentino Perez will have significant cut off the wage bill to facilitate the potential arrivals of Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe this summer.
Gnabry-Dembele dilemma
The Blues have ruled out the possibility of signing the former Arsenal attacker Serge Gnabry despite his own contract uncertainty at Bayern Munich in an attempt to go 'all out' for Ousmane Dembele.
This is according to Spanish outlet SPORT who have clarified that the Frenchmen decided to stay at Barcelona in January at the advice of new signing Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang coupled with the idea that he didn't want the European and World Champions to pay a transfer fee for his services.
The report goes on to clarify that Tuchel's side have already contacted his entourage ahead of a free transfer swoop.
£8million was offered in the 'last days' of January but as already mentioned, the injury prone winger refused at the time.
Erling Haaland 'offer'
It seems as though Man City have stolen a march on Chelsea and Real Madrid in the transfer race to sign the Norwegian ace this summer.
Spanish outlet Cadena SER via Sport Witness has reported that Florentino Perez believes the striker will join the current Premier League Champions.
It was also stated in this report that the Citizens are 'top of the list' to secure his services.
Other reports circulating in the European media allude to the fact that Dortmund hope to keep Haaland for at least one more season while another story suggests that Pep Guardiola's side have 'already met' with the players representatives to distinguish how they can complete this transfer operation.
Tammy Abraham 'hope'
While smashing it so far on the continent with Roma, former Chelsea academy graduate Tammy Abraham has recently admitted that he has no regrets in leaving the club.
However, if the latest reports are to be believed, then the Englishmen is already eyeing up his future return to SW6.
According to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport via Sport Witness, the 24-year-old 'hopes to return' to his boyhood club in the future in a Romelu Lukaku 2.0 situation.
Andreas Christensen to Spurs and the latest on Antonio Rudiger
The two defenders could be set for different summer transfers with the Danish centre-half looking likely to leave whilst the German could now stay according to the latest.
On Christensen to start off with, it is understood according to Calciomercato that the Scandinavian 'continues to give priority' to renewing his contract with Chelsea but in the last hours, his representatives have held talks with Bayern Munich and Tottenham shockingly.
The report on Sport Witness states that Christensen is on a wish list for Antonio Conte in the summer if he decides to stay with Stephan De Vrij and Matthijs De Ligt the others considered. Certainly a situation to keep an eye out on.
On Rudiger, the indications now suggest that the Blues are going to give in on his contractual demands and offer him whatever he wants due to his consistent performances this season.

Romelu Lukaku 'pay cut' possible to ensure exit
Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku could seal a dramatic return to Inter Milan this summer if he was to take a significant pay cut.
Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Conte's favourite wants to return to Inter and is willing to take a pay cut. 'It’s still going to be a costly operation'- the Italian outlet have clarified on the player who is the European Champions' highest earner who currently earns around £325,000 per week.
Chelsea's stance on this development is still unknown but it was hoped initially that Tuchel could eventually get Lukaku playing in his way of football but this hasn't happened as of yet.
