Chelsea are ready to make their 'last attempt' to try and keep contract rebel Antonio Rudiger.
The Germany international is out of contract in the summer and could walk away from Stamford Bridge for nothing, despite Thomas Tuchel and his team being keen to keep the player.
But reports have suggested the club's owner Roman Abramovich wants to try again to convince the defender to stay.
It comes amid reports that Tuchel wants to sign Aurélien Tchouaméni 'at all costs' this summer.
And the Blues could have the perfect midfield partner for his arrival, after being told to sign Manchester United star Paul Pogba when his contract runs out at the end of the season.

Pogba move urged
Chelsea should try and team N'Golo Kante with Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, it has been claimed.
Pogba could be available as a free signing this summer when his deal at Old Trafford expires, and Darren Bent thinks he could be revitalised by a move to Stamford Bridge.
The talkSPORT pundit [via Manchester Evening News ] thinks the United ace could recapture his internaitonal form at club level if played alongside his France midfield partner.
Bent said: "When Pogba plays alongside Kante he looks like a completely different player. If they [Chelsea] were to sign him... Wow!"
'Last attempt' to keep Rudiger
Roman Abramovich has decided he wants to keep Antonio Rudiger at the club and will meet with the player and his representatives in the coming weeks to discuss a new contract, according to reports.
El Nacional claims Chelsea will "increase their offer" to keep Rudiger at the club, with the centre-back being linked with the likes of Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain and Bayern Munich.
The report adds that the Blues are ready to offer Rudiger more than he's been offered by Spanish giants Real Madrid to persuade him to stay at the club.
Tchouaméni wanted 'at all costs'
Thomas Tuchel wants the Blues to bring in French midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni 'at all costs' this summer, it has been reported.
Tchouaméni could be one of the most sought-after signings of this summer, with Manchester United also reportedly keen on landing his signature.
Spanish news outlet Marca claims United and Chelsea are 'best placed' to sign the player, but the Blues have 'gone the furthest' with his agent Jonathan Kébé.
Real Madrid are also reportedly interested in the midfielder, who has impressed for Monaco this season.
