Chelsea summer signing Marc Cucurella has admitted a return to Barcelona in the future would be "very nice" after his previous spell with the Blaugrana. The defender came through the academy with the Catalonian side from under-16 level, but only made one appearance before leaving.
On his route to Stamford Bridge, the Spaniard joined Eibar and then Getafe before Brighton and Hove Albion cemented him in the Premier League. The 24-year-old impressed enough to make the £56million switch to Chelsea, making 13 appearances so far for the side.
Cucurella has struggled with some performances so far, though there has been a lack of consistency in his positioning, sometimes playing as a wing-back, others as a centre-back. There will be hopes that he can find the form that earned him the move in the summer when football returns after the World Cup.
