Chelsea's second-choice goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has admitted that manager Thomas Tuchel has made the team work hard ahead of the pre-season opener versus Club America this weekend with Raheem Sterling finally linking-up with the squad.
The Blues have been in Los Angeles now for over a week and as well as really getting to know their surroundings, the players have been getting down to work at their training base at UCLA.
Whilst Tuchel has been making his squad work really hard in order for him to see an accomplished performance against their opponents in the early hours of Sunday, new owner Todd Boehly has been working hard off the pitch to ensure that the manager is to get the backing he was promised earlier this summer.

The £200million transfer budget has already yielded Raheem Sterling, whose £47.5million move from Man City was confirmed in LA itself on Wednesday afternoon. He has now undertaken a couple of training sessions with his new peers.
Meanwhile, Kalidou Koulibaly remains to wait in London before his £34million move from Napoli is officially confirmed. football.london understands that he passed his medical checks without any problems and could join up with the team in Las Vegas this weekend to at least watch his new teammates in action.
Whilst the final preparations go in for the game against the Liga MX outfit, second-choice goalkeeper Kepa, who could be heading to the exit door himself this summer in search of more regular game time, has provided fans with an insight into what Tuchel's pre-season training regime and methods have been like to date.
"Well I think it's the first step," he told Chelsea's social media team. "The first part of the stage, mental and physical work but with the team, we have met everybody [the fans] so it's good.
"We are training very hard and now we move on. The games, they are coming so we are getting ready."
He then added on flying out to Las Vegas to meet more supporters: "Yes, of course- we are meeting a lot of Chelsea fans here in LA and now hopefully in Las Vegas. We have the first game there, it will be an amazing game and an amazing atmosphere. The pitch is massive so we are excited to get there and start playing."
