William Gallas has slammed the "ridiculous" price Chelsea could end up paying to sign Wesley Fofana from Leicester City. The Blues and the Foxes have been locked in talks for the past week as they negotiate a deal for the 21-year-old.
After missing out on Jules Kounde, who recently signed for Barcelona, Chelsea quickly turned their attention to the highly-rated Fofana. football.london understands Fofana is putting pressure on Leicester – both internally and externally – and the defender is very open to moving to Stamford Bridge.
However, Leicester's stance on the matter has not changed. They do not want to sell Fofana. There is a school of thought, though, that around £80million could at least tempt the Foxes to cash in on the Frenchman.
