Bruno Saltor has today faced the media after becoming Chelsea’s interim manager, following the sacking of Graham Potter. The former Brighton defender steps up having been kept on at Stamford Bridge, only seven months after he joined Potter at the club.
Already the likes of Julian Nagelsmann and Mauricio Pochettino are emerging as contenders to become the Blues’ next manager, while Potter is being linked with the Leicester job. Whether Chelsea are able to find a new permanent boss before the end of the season or, like Tottenham, resort to a caretaker remains to be seen.
