Premier League clubs are reportedly 'monitoring the contract disputes' between Barcelona and Ronald Araujo and Gavi. According to Sky Sports, the young talents are attracting interest from elsewhere amid uncertainty over their situations with the La Liga club.
Araujo's current contract is due to expire at the end of next season, as per Transfermarkt, meaning there is set to be speculation over his future in the summer. The £36million-rated defender has been a standout performer for Barcelona this season - appearing 22 times in La Liga.
According to Goal, Araujo has been identified as a 'serious transfer target' for Chelsea ahead of the summer transfer window. The futures of Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen are all in doubt, so the Blues will be in the market for at least one new centre-back.

Barcelona manager Xavi recently addressed Araujo's situation and insisted sorting his future out was one of the club's priorities, although nothing has been made official since. Xavi said: "[Araujo's] renewal is a priority. For me, he is a very important piece. He is an extraordinary defender and has a winning character.
"They have to reach an agreement quickly because he is a player for the present and for the future. It is appreciated to have players like him. Ronald is a guy who contributes a lot."
Meanwhile, the £54m-rated Gavi also sees his contract with the Catalan club expire in the summer of 2023, and with his extremely impressive performances this term, he will have plenty of suitors. The 17-year-old midfielder has featured 24 times for Barcelona in the Spanish top-flight this season.
According to Mundo Deportivo, via football-talk.co.uk, Chelsea and Liverpool are both interested in signing the teenage sensation. The English duo could well be two of the unnamed Premier League duo who are keeping a close eye on the midfielder's uncertain situation.
Rather unsurprisingly, it seems Barcelona have no intention of allowing Gavi to leave the club. This is what Xavi said about the midfielder in December of last year: "Having him is a show: his personality, what he generates, the goal, his assistance.
"He is the future of the club. Surprising due to his age, he is only 17-years-old. He makes a difference. I'm delighted to have him, but I don't want to compare him to anyone. He has no limit."
