Timo Werner's agent has reportedly held meetings with Serie A trio AC Milan, Atalanta and Juventus ahead of a summer move. According to Corriere dello Sport, the German forward's future lies away from Chelsea, with Italian clubs keen on his services.
However, at the moment, with Chelsea's search for a new owner ongoing, the club are unable to conduct any type of transfer business. The Blues' owner Roman Abramovich was sanctioned by the UK government last month, just days after his decision to sell the club was announced.
Until a new owner is confirmed, the club are not permitted to do any form of business. This, however, has not stopped Chelsea players from assessing their options elsewhere - something Werner is apparently doing at the moment.

The 26-year-old, who was signed by Chelsea in the summer of 2020, has failed to live up to expectations in his almost two seasons at the club. This term, Werner has scored just one Premier League goal.
He continues to perform well for Germany, though, which slightly frustrates some Chelsea supporters. During the recent international break, the former RB Leipzig man found the back of the net against Israel and after the match admitted that his national team's style of play suits him better than the Blues'.
Werner said this last month: "I'm a striker and I always want to score. Things aren't going the way I would like at Chelsea, so it's all the better that things are going well here under Hansi Flick.
"I really enjoy playing football, no matter where I am playing. There are differences in the style of play between football at Chelsea and here. Maybe the one at the national team suits me better.
"Here, I always have scoring chances, I can score goals. I feel very comfortable here."
If these reports from Italy are true, then it may be the best thing for both parties. It's clear that Werner is uncomfortable right now at Chelsea, just see the comments above, and Thomas Tuchel doesn't see the German as part of his first-team plans, it seems.
