Jules Kounde interest
Chelsea have long held transfer interest in Sevilla defender Jules Kounde, though a move is yet to materialise. However, that could soon change after the Blues missed out on the chance to re-sign Nathan Ake from Manchester City.
As a result, Gianluca di Marzio reports that Chelsea have turned their attention back to Kounde as a potential centre-back option. The Frenchman is also said to be of interest to Barcelona.

Maxwel Cornet problem
Chelsea have been linked with a potential transfer for Burnley forward Maxwel Cornet this summer. The 25-year-old impressed for the Clarets in their relegation campaign and could be an option in the forward line or at wing-back for the Blues.
However, the Athletic reports that Everton are in the driving seat over a transfer. Former Chelsea player and boss Frank Lampard has been busy at work rebuilding the Toffees this summer and could deal his ex-side a problem.
Lewandowski decision
Chelsea have long followed a potential deal for Robert Lewandowski this summer, with Thomas Tuchel admitting he is one of the best strikers in the world. However, it seems as though he won’t be moving to west London.
That’s because Fabrizio Romano reports that both the Blues and PSG have been informed that the Poland international is set to join Barcelona. An agreement is close with Bayern Munich after personal terms were met a few months prior.
