Chelsea player ratings vs Tottenham as Kalidou Koulibaly and Reece James shine in dramatic draw

Edouard Mendy - Had virtually nothing to do in the first-half. Not too much he could have done for either of the goals. 6.

Reece James - Looked sharp in duels with Son Heung-min. Booked in the first-half for an excellent tactical foul on Son. Took his goal really well. Class as always. 8.

Thiago Silva - Looked calm and composed as always. The fact he went mostly under the radar shows how solid a performance it was. 6.

Kalidou Koulibaly - Looked exceptional all game. Took an Antonio Rudiger-esque shot from the edge of the box early on that went wide. Wow, wow, wow – what a finish for the goal! Chelsea fans love him already. 8.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek - Playing at right wing-back. He looked exceptional all game-long. The chance for Sterling in the second-half, maybe he should have shot himself, but he did create the chance out of nothing! 7.

Marc Cucurella - Looked really sharp in the opening 20 minutes. He was on set-piece duty a lot, which was good to see. He set up Koulibaly's volley with a fine cross from a corner. 7.

Jorginho - He was exceptional in the first-half and for the a lot of the second period. He did, however, give away the ball inside Chelsea's box which led to Spurs' equaliser. 6.

N'Golo Kante - Lively first-half. A couple of really sharp interceptions. He was less effective in the second period. 6.

Mason Mount - He kept picking up really good positions in between the Spurs back line and midfield. Should have done better with a good chance in the first-half, but overall it was a very positive performance. 7.

Raheem Sterling - He was rather quiet. He looked good at times when linking up with Mount and Havertz. His movement was top notch as usual. Probably should have scored on the hour-mark with a good chance on his right foot. A great assist for James. 7.

Kai Havertz - Needs to be more clinical. He has to score with that chance on 75 minutes. Some nice touches, but we know he can do that. 5.

Substitutes:

Cesar Azpilicueta - Looked solid. 6.

Christian Pulisic - N/A.

Conor Gallagher - N/A.

Armando Broja - N/A.
