Kepa Arrizabalaga - Pulled off an outstanding save to deny Andreas Pereira in the opening half of the match and was generally composed on the ball under pressure though one shutdown clearance may have left the Spaniard worried. Was there when needed. 7.
Reece James - Quickly added width on the right that Chelsea have missed in his absence and showed some impressive strength in battles against Aleksandar Mitrovic. Perhaps not quite up to his usual standards as Graham Potter replaced him after 59 minutes but a steady outing. 6.
Thiago Silva - As always the coolest man on the pitch at Stamford Bridge and defended well in combination with Badiashile. 7.

Benoit Badiashile - The French defender brings such a presence to Chelsea's backline but also produced an exquisite cross-field pass for Hakim Ziyech. Showed impressive pace to put pressure on Fulham's breaks and was very strong in the tackle too. Poor final ball of the game. 8.
Marc Cucurella - A steady if unspectacular outing from the former Brighton defender who controlled the ball well when required. Perhaps could have offered more going forwards. 6.
Enzo Fernandez - An exciting debut from the Argentina international after his record transfer. Battled well against Mitrovic and showed some precision timing to knick the ball away from a plethora of Fulham feet. Presented a challenge as Fulham's midfield split wide of him but was unafraid to try and take over in dictate when Chelsea required a goal in the dying minutes. 7.
Conor Gallagher - Benefitted from the presence of Fernandez and looked more comfortable because of it. Some clumsy tackles as expected and would have hoped to impact the game more going forwards. 6.
Mason Mount - Found himself in some good forward positions but did not produce enough accuracy with his final ball. 5.
Hakim Ziyech - The Morocco star almost left the club just days ago but showed plenty of work rate and commitment to the cause against Fulham. Undoubtedly would have liked to do better with his wayward shot in the first half but looked to provide plenty of threat with first-time passes and produced an outstanding ball for Kai Havertz to hit the post. 6.
Kai Havertz - It's a game of fine margins as Kai Havertz saw the offside, the ball trickle wide and a lob hit the post. The German international just couldn't find the target. His all-round play made it difficult to see the positive side of that but looked good in a deeper position after David Fofana's introduction. 5.
Mykhailo Mudryk - Showed his impressive speed and an eye for a cute pass but was ultimately less impressive than on his debut. Potter warned ahead of the game that the young winger's minutes needed to be managed and he was replaced at half time. 5.
Substitutes:
Noni Madueke - Lined up on the left and then swapped sides with the introduction of Raheem Sterling. Showed some urgency to get the ball moving up the pitch and some good energy. 6.
Cesar Azpilicueta - Made some important tackles and was solid in his time on the pitch. 6.
Raheem Sterling - Took some warming into the occasion on his return from injury but provided some issues for the opposition and won a number of free kick. 5.
David Datro Fofana- The Premier League debutant so nearly became the hero in the 79th minute. He brilliantly took the ball around Leno before beating his defender with another jink but saw his shot finally blocked. 6.
Ben Chillwell: Showed more forward instinct than Cucurella on his short time on the pitch. N/A.
