Jorginho expected to leave Chelsea next summer
The Athletic has reported that midfielder Jorginho is expected to leave Stamford Bridge when his contract expires next summer.
Jorginho's deal is up in 2023 and despite making comments about his love for the club in the past week, a breakthrough in negotiations still have not come with the January transfer window, where the player can speak to other clubs, nears.
Jorginho signed for Chelsea in the summer of 2018 from Napoli for £60million and has made 207 appearances since, winning the Champions League, Europa League, Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup. Although he has proved a decisive figure at times, he has remained a durable figure under four different coaches and will likely play a big part in the second half of this season.
Like Jorginho, N'Golo Kante's contract situation also remains uncertain with his deal expiring next summer as the Frenchman is expected to be out with a hamstring injury until March.

Youssafa Moukoko clears up transfer reports
Borussia Dortmund starlet Youssoufa Moukoko has hit back at reports claiming he has turned down a lucrative contract in Germany.
During his time in Qatar, it emerged that Chelsea were amongst the pack chasing to sign him, a tournament where he became the youngest player to feature for Germany at a World Cup.
After a report made by German publication Bild that the striker had turned down a €6million (£5.2m) per year contract offer from his boyhood club in demand of €7million (£6.1m), Moukoko went public to deny such stories as accurate.
“I know that this is all part of the football business by now, but even though I’m still young, I won’t let myself be pressured in my decision about my future,” he wrote. “I will never accept such a lie about me. It’s really sad that you can bring something like this into the world nowadays so that you (fans) have a false image of me.
“Very, very sad, because I’m still shocked by the report.”
Behdad Eghbali takes on Chelsea exit plan
Chelsea co-owner was quizzed on his for plans, the impact of venture capital on the relationship with Chelsea, plans to have multiple clubs and more at SporticoLive's "Invest in Sports" Summit.
He spoke on a variety of topics including the multi-club model, transfers, the Super League and more. After hearing Todd Boehly speak publicly a few months after taking over Chelsea, this is the first time Eghbali had done so on the eve of Chelsea's return to Premier League action.
"We thought Chelsea was good beachhead, it was frankly an asset, a business that was not terribly well managed on the football side, sporting side or promotional side, so meaningful opportunity at the club and we'll get to it for us, who needed the beachhead to then look at multi clubs."
Expanding on the multi-club issue, Eghbali said: I think three different reasons for it. One, if done well you can make money on each specific enterprise. What Gerry has done, Ian you guys have done, you've bought well you're going to make money on a specific investment."
