Antonio Rudiger's Chelsea future continues to look up in the air as the Blues star has turned down another contract offer from the club.
The German centre-back will be free to leave Stamford Bridge for nothing when his contract expires this summer and has been linked with the likes of Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain and Bayern Munich.
But Chelsea have not given up hope of persuading the defender to stay.
It comes after Romelu Lukaku was left visibly frustrated during the FA Cup tie against Plymouth Argyle.
The club have also suffered a huge blow just as they prepare to fly out for the Club World Cup.
Here are Mirror Football's latest Chelsea headlines.

Club World Cup blow
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has tested positive for Covid-19 just days before the club are due to take part in the Club World Cup.
The Blues flew out to Abu Dhabi hours after booking their place in the next round of the FA Cup thanks to Marcos Alonso's extra-time goal against Plymouth.
But Tuchel remained at home to self-isolate following the positive test.
The club have revealed how the Chelsea coach could join the rest of the team in the coming days though.
Rudiger contract latest
Chelsea contract rebel Antonio Rudiger is reportedly still open to staying at the club despite turning down the Blues' latest offer.
The German centre-back has proven to be a key part of Thomas Tuchel's defence so far this season but could walk away from the club for nothing when his contract expires this summer.
Despite reportedly being happy in west London though, Rudiger is yet to commit his future to the club.
And now reports suggest Chelsea have tabled a huge offer for the defender to stay, but are still short of Rudiger’s demands.
Lukaku frustration
Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku was left demonstrably frustrated with his teammate Timo Werner during the FA Cup win over Plymouth Argyle.
With the scores locked at 1-1, the Belgium international played his teammate in with a superb through-ball, only for Werner to miss the glorious opportunity to net the winner for his side.
And Lukaku reacted furiously to the miss by his Chelsea teammate.
