Tuchel reveals Abramovich talk
Thomas Tuchel dedicated his side's Club World Cup win to Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.
Chelsea lifted the trophy thanks to Kai Havertz's extra-time penalty after Romelu Lukaku put the Blues ahead only to be pegged back by the Brazilian side when Raphael Veiga netted from the penalty spot just minutes later.
The 2-1 win over Palmeiras means the Blues have now won every major tournament since the Russian billionaire took charge.
And Tuchel has now revealed the conversation the pair shared following the final-whistle in Abu Dhabi on Saturday – and how Abramovich made it all possible.
Rudiger's contract message
Antonio Rudiger has detailed his one major Chelsea ambition – despite the centre-back being due to leave the club when his contract expires at the end of this season.
The German is still said to be locked in negotiations with the Blues, who are yet to meet his £225,000-a-week demands.
Rudiger has been linked with a big-money summer move if he does decide to depart Stamford Bridge, with the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain said to be interested in securing his services.
But his latest comments have put the ball back in Chelsea's court – and appear to make it clear the player would like to remain at the club beyond the summer.
