Chelsea interim manager Frank Lampard is reportedly expected to stay at the club for the rest of the season, despite the club holding talks with Mauricio Pochettino.
Lampard took temporary charge of his former club at the start of the month following the dismissal of Graham Potter at Stamford Bridge. The change has now however brought a change in fortunes for the club, with Nottingham Forest still to play the Blues at Stamford Bridge before the end of the season.
Chelsea’s 2-0 loss against Brentford on Wednesday night was their fifth in a row under the interim manager. The result leaves them in 11th place in the table on 39 points, they can still mathematically be relegated from the league.
