Chelsea look set to do everything in their power to provide Mauricio Pochettino with the necessary tools to succeed at Stamford Bridge next season. The Blues will be eager to ensure there is no repeat of the 2022/23 campaign - their worst in the Premier League - with a return to Europe’s elite next term.
The Argentine will officially start his role at Cobham on July 1, handing him a full pre-season to prepare for August's start. However, it seems as though the new Chelsea head coach has already started his planning with a number of targets identified for the summer transfer window.
The Blues are expected to be one of the busiest clubs around Europe over the next few months. Recent reports have claimed that Todd Boehly is prepared to add as many as six more players to the squad this summer, depending on the number of players that depart.
A host of players have already been linked with a move to SW6, with football.london understanding a goalkeeper, midfielder and attacker are the top priorities.
Following reports that Premier League rivals Arsenal hold an interest in Kai Havertz, Chelsea have reportedly made their move to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic. The Serbian has previously been tipped for a move to the Premier League prior to his move to Turin but could now seek a new challenge following a whirlwind season in Italy.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport (via Football Italia), the Serie A side have been offered the opportunity to pick from a list of five Chelsea players as part of a possible swap proposal. The report suggests that Juve have set an asking price of €80 million (£68) for the 23-year-old, though a part-exchange deal plus cash is preferred by Chelsea.
Cobham graduates Trevoh Chalobah and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who have both been linked with a move to Italy, are reportedly on that list, as well as USMNT winger Christian Pulisic. Former Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly is also said to be a possible option, as well as striker Romelu Lukaku.
All five players have been the subject of speculation in the past few weeks, with their futures at Chelsea seeming in doubt. It remains to be seen whether Juventus will entertain the offer or remain resolute in their asking price.
