Chelsea loan latest as Colwill shines, Cumming sets record and two stars make World Cup squad

Nathan Baxter - The Hull City loanee produced two solid displays as the Tigers first beat Cardiff City 3-2 before falling to a 2-1 defeat to Reading.

Lucas Bergstrom - The young goalkeeper completed 90 minutes as Peterborough lost to Exeter 3-2. Bergstrom's Peterborough side were also drawn to face Chelsea under-21s in the Papa John's Trophy, due to be played next week.

Jamie Cumming - Cumming first kept a clean sheet in a 2-0 win over Morecambe that saw him reach fourth-place in MK Dons history for clean sheets with his 17th. At that point, he had kept a clean sheet every 2.5 starts, which is better than any other Dons stopper to have played more than 10 matches. MK Dons then lost 3-1 to Derby County.

Ethan Wady - Was absent from Woking's most recent squad.

Malang Sarr - The French defender was an unused substitute as Monaco lost 3-2 to Marseille.

Ethan Ampadu - The Welshman had an impressive final week before heading to Qatar for the World Cup. Ampadu first provided an impressive assist as Spezia drew with Udinese before taking on a midfield role for the Italians against Verona and helped his side come back from 1-0 down to win 2-1 providing a pre-assist with a classy outside-of-the-boot pass.

Levi Colwill - Started against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup and put in an impressive outing in Brighton's win, producing some important tackles and a crucial block. He backed that up with another decent outing as he made his first Premier League start in a defeat to Aston Villa.

Following the win over the Gunners, Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi said: I knew before that Sarmiento, Enciso, Colwill, Lamptey, Gilmour can play with us.

"They have the right level to play with us. I hope they start to believe in themselves more. To play in these stadiums against these teams – Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, United - you have to believe in yourself, believe in your quality. They have this quality, this ability to play. I want more and more from them."

Henry Lawrence - The young defender completed 90 minutes twice for MK Dons as they first beat Morecambe and then lost to Derby. In the win against the Shrimps, the wing-back was utilised on the left flank in a change to his usual role.

Lawrence is pleased that he is consistently earning his place. He said: "As any player, you've got to fight for the shirt, and you can only do that by working hard in training and playing well. As long as I can keep doing that and just keep getting those games up and playing well."

Ian Maatsen - Produced a fine performance in Burnley's derby win against Blackburn, having best rested against Crawley Town in midweek.

Sam McClelland - The Barrow loanee remains out injured.

Baba Rahman - The Ghana international was named in his nation's World Cup squad. The full-back first picked up a yellow card in a 2-0 defeat to Watford before delivering a solid performance in Reading's win over Hull.

Dujon Sterling - Missed Stoke's two matches this week after picking up a knock. He should be back for the next fixture in a few weeks.

Tino Anjorin - The midfielder remains out with illness.

Tiemoue Bakayoko - Was twice an unused substitute for AC Milan and is still yet to play a minute for Milan this season.

Xavier Simons - Was not in either of Hull City's most recent squads but featured in the under-21 side's win over Coventry.

Harvey Vale - Was not in either of Hull City's most recent squads but featured in the under-21 side's win over Coventry.

Romelu Lukaku - The forward remains out with injury but made Belgium's squad for the World Cup.

Callum Hudson-Odoi - The Chelsea winger played 85 minutes in Bayer Leverkusen's 2-1 win over Koln before having to settle for a place on the bench in a 2-0 win over Stuttgart.

Bryan Fiabema - The striker was introduced for the final 10 minutes but could not prevent Forest Green from falling to a 2-0 defeat against Wycombe.

Jayden Wareham - The striker earned just three minutes of playing time in the defeat to AFC Wimbledon and was an unused substitute as Leyton Orient beat Harrogate Town.
