Chelsea are in talks to sign Australia international midfielder Kyra Cooney-Cross.
The 21-year-old, who excelled at the World Cup for the host nation, has long been a target for Emma Hayes’s double winners.
Cooney-Cross can choose her next club when her Hammarby contract expires in January and Chelsea are keen to gain an edge on their rivals by beginning talks early.
The midfielder is keen to move on after the Swedish season ends in November.
The Blues have also confirmed defender Alsu Adbullina will spend the 2023/24 season on loan with Paris FC.
“A loan move for the 2023/24 campaign will see the left-back play her football with Paris FC in Division 1 Feminine, the highest division of women’s football in France, where they finished third last season earning themselves a place in the UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifiers,” read a statement.
“Everyone at Chelsea would like to wish Alsu every success during her time with Paris FC.”
