Real Madrid have pulled out of the race to land Erling Haaland in the summer, according to the Daily Star.

The report claims that Los Blancos cannot afford to land the 21-year-old in the summer, due to their hopes of signing Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer at the end of the season.

This has given a number of Premier League clubs some hope, with the Blues named as one side - along with title rivals Manchester City and Liverpool - who are interested in signing him.
