Welcome to the football.london transfer briefing. To help you keep on top of all things Chelsea going on in the market we've got the latest noises coming from social media, journalists and so-called ITKs, rounding up what's what in the world of the Blues.
Double deal emerges
Chelsea are expected to formalise an official move for Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo. The Blues have been tracking the Ecuadorian since the January transfer window and have already seen a £60 million ($76m) bid turned down this summer.
Sky Sports is now claiming that there is growing confidence that Caicedo would be open to a move to Stamford Bridge, with personal terms not expected to be a problem.
The deal for Caicedo isn't the only one on Todd Boehly's midfield radar. The same report suggests Romeo Lavia continues to be of interest amid interest from Arsenal and Liverpool.
football.london says: Chelsea could be about to bolster their midfield options with two smart pieces of business. With Liverpool already signing Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai and Arsenal breaking their transfer record for Declan Rice, the door is open for the Blues.
Brighton's £80m ($101m) price tag on Caicedo means Boehly will have to get his chequebook out once again. Add the £40m ($51m) potentially needed for land Lavia, Chelsea could find themselves with one of the best midfield trios in the Premier League alongside Enzo Fernandez with a dream partner for the Argentine.
Landing a new midfielder is a top priority for Pochettino, especially after Mateo Kovacic and Mason Mount left the club. However, with clubs interested in both Caicedo and Lavia, nobody is quite sure if Chelsea will win the race for their signature.

Man United scupper goalkeeper plan
Manchester United have made their first move in signing Inter Milan goalkeeper and Chelsea target Andre Onana. The Cameroon international has been linked with a move to the Premier League for some time after his impressive performances last season.
It's said that United's first move for the shot-stopper is worth £39m ($50m) including add-ons. The move has been driven by Erik ten Hag due to their relationship formed at Ajax, though there is a gap in United's valuation of the player with Inter.
The Italian giants want £51.4m ($65m) or their number one. Currently, it remains unseen whether Chelsea will attempt to offer close to that.
football.london says: The Man United-Chelsea rivalry in the transfer market looks set to continue. After Mount completed his move to Old Trafford on Wednesday, focus looks to be on replacing David De Gea.
Like Chelsea, United are desperate for a new goalkeeper. Their opening bid is likely to be turned down, leaving the Blues with an enormous chance to sign Pochettino's perfect goalkeeper themselves. Fortunately, the relationship between Inter and Chelsea is in a good position following talks regarding Romelu Lukaku.
Yet, if Chelsea are going to beat their Premier League rivals for Onana, they will have to make their first move closer to Inter's valuation of him. It would be a disaster to lose out on their priority target after learning how much they will have to pay so early in the window with Man United in line to ruin a 'perfect' deal.
