Chelsea favour Romelu Lukaku to Bayern Munich in exchange for Robert Lewandowski transfer trick

Romelu Lukaku seems to be hot property in the transfer market. Not only is he wanted by his former club Inter Milan, but he is also admired by German giants Bayern Munich. It doesn't get much better than two major clubs willing to take an unpopular fan choice off the clubs hands. Whilst the Belgian would prefer a move back to Italy, Chelsea must consider all of their options.

According to the latest Italian reports via Sport Witness, Romelu Lukaku apparently wants nothing to do with Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel. With that being said, it's all but certain that the Belgian will find a way out. He has already agreed to lower his salary for a move back to the I Nerazzurri, if you believe the reports.

That's a nice gesture I guess, but Chelsea will not benefit from a potential loan transfer to Inter Milan. They could, however, take advantage of Robert Lewandowski's situation with Bayern Munich.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, Chelsea are eyeing Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski. It comes as no surprise as the forward has made it clear that he will like to leave the club this summer. In response, Bayern Munich have apparently made contact with Romelu Lukaku's representatives. The report states that the Blues are keen for Lukaku to join Bayern over Inter in hopes that it will aid their pursuit of Robert Lewandowski.

I would like to see one of the world's most elite strikers at my club. I thought we would get that with Lukaku but that didn't quite go to plan. A league that enjoys a high-lined defence such as the Bundesliga may be the key to help Lukaku regain his Inter Milan form. Of course, returning to the city where he thrived massively would be an easier way out for the Belgian but a deal with Bayern Munich could help facilitate the move for Lewandowski.

The same sort of deal could have been struck with Inter Milan regarding Lautaro Martinez. Instead the Argentine announced his plans to stay in Milan this summer after Argentina's victory over Italy on Wednesday night.

From the outside looking in, it is a no brainer for the Blues. Both clubs are open to a loan move for the Belgian but Thomas Tuchel will benefit more from a potential Munich deal. Seeing as Lukaku is supposedly done with the Chelsea boss, maybe he wouldn't mind joining Julian Nagelsmann next season.
