Manchester City look set to loan out one of the players of last season with Joao Cancelo on the verge of joining Bayern Munich. The Portugal full back was key to Pep Guardiola's title win last term.
Having come in as a right-back, Cancelo was moved to the left consistently in order to incorporate Kyle Walker into the side and that is where he played most of his football. Part of Cancelo's brilliance was also his ability to come into midfield and act seamlessly in that role too.
This season City haven't been on the same level and Cancelo has found himself missing out. With the 28-year-old heading to Germany it has opened up for Tottenham's transfer target Pedro Porro to once more play for the Citizens.

Porro was considered by Chelsea before they turned to Malo Gusto and Spurs made progress with deal. That has since fallen through though, leaving Antonio Conte without his desired new wingback.
At the same time, when speaking of right-sided defenders, Liverpool have struggled with Trent Alexander-Arnold defensively - though this is partly due to a lack of midfield cover - and James Milner started at Anfield against Graham Potter's men. The Blues themselves have had issues with Reece James' ongoing injury concerns.
Porro's addition to the squad, albeit next season when his loan with Lyon ends, will be a huge boost for James who has become the most important player for Chelsea.
Now, with Cancelo on his way out of the league, Alexander-Arnold struggling and James coming back to full fitness, fans have made their stance on who the best of the trio is very clear.
@RH_CFC: Reece James doesn't get benched for any team, another check in the best RB in the world book.
@CFC_Janty: Cancelo this, Trent that. Reece James has always been clear. Glad that silly debate is finally over
@Cfc_Kemboi: Reece James just sent Cancelo to Farmers League ,the debate is over. Malo Gusto go send Trent to derby County.
@asysyrf: Reece James came out on top in the end.
@khush_rahoxd: Now that cancelo isnt even rated by his own manager we can all agree reece james is the best rb in the world
@MaseLFC_: Reece James then Trent not this cancelo fraud
@Tuwase_: It's crazy that Reece James won the Cancelo-Trent debate while on injury fam
@hlumimooi: No way did Reece James win the James, Cancelo and Trent argument by playing the fewest minutes
