Chelsea could be set to face competition from Mauricio Pochettino's former side, Tottenham, in the race to sign Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana. The Argentine has set three key demands ahead of the summer transfer window with a new striker, central midfielder and goalkeeper on the club's agenda, football.london understands.
There are question marks over the futures of Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy at Stamford Bridge with neither goalkeeper proving to be convincing between the sticks. Despite showing glimpses of great promise, Kepa has struggled at times this season with Mendy watching on from the sidelines.
Recent reports state that the Blues have already begun conversations with Inter for the 27-year-old after arranging a meeting to discuss the future of loanee Romelu Lukaku. A fee of €40million (£35million) has been mooted.

A report from SempreInter claims that Spurs have now made an enquiry for the Inter star with L'Equipe stating that Hugo Lloris could be set to leave Tottenham this summer - a year before his contract is set to expire. The Frenchman has been a fantastic servant to the club since joining from Lyon in 2012 for a fee costing roughly £10.5million at the time.
Brentford's David Raya and Brighton's Robert Sanchez are both being tracked by the two London outfits, and it now seems Onana is a target for Spurs. Onana is at his peak and he could prove to be a quality signing for Tottenham - with the Cameroon goalkeeper preparing to face Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League final next weekend.
However, according to Inter chief Giuseppe Marotta, there is no doubt where the shot-stopper will be playing his football next season. "Onana leaving for €40million (£34.5million)? I’d rule this out, honestly. We think he will stay," he claimed.
"We have not received any offers and Onana is happy in Milano, he wants to stay here. We do not plan to sell him."
Inter are monitoring Trevoh Chalobah's situation at Stamford Bridge with the defender potentially being a useful bargaining chip for Chelsea as they look to strike a deal for Onana.
