Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount is 'battling to be fit' for next Sunday's Carabao Cup final against Liverpool.
The 23-year-old suffered an injury during Saturday's Club World Cup final against Brazilian side Palmeiras, forcing him to be withdrawn after just 31 minutes played in the match.
Thomas Tuchel's side went on to win the showpiece fixture, that the Reds also won back in 2019, after a late Kai Havertz penalty sealed a 2-1 victory for the Londoners.

Mount joined in with the celebrations at full-time, though had a heavily strapped right ankle at this stage and later left the stadium on crutches.
A report by the Athletic has claimed that his injury is not as serious as first feared, though the England international is expected to 'miss at least two weeks' of action.
As a result of this timeline, Mount seems unlikely to feature in next week's Champions League tie with Lille and is a doubt to face Liverpool at Wembley.
Chelsea will also be without first-choice left-back Ben Chilwell on February 27, with right-back Reece James also expected to remain sidelined.
Liverpool, by contrast, have seen their injury woes ease significantly following the recent returns of Divock Origi, Harvey Elliott, Thiago Alcantara.
Jurgen Klopp was also boosted by Mohamed Salah, Naby Keita and Sadio Mane reaching the end of the Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon, with each player avoiding any major issues while away on international duty.
