Hakim Ziyech's deadline day loan move to Paris Saint-Germain is 'in doubt', football.london understands.
The Chelsea winger has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge throughout the January transfer window and it's understood that Todd Bohely granted the 29-year-old's wish to leave the club. It had been reported prior to the 11pm deadline that Ziyech had secured a move to PSG for the remainder of the 2022/23 season but the completion of the deal is now doubtful.
French journalist Bruno Salomon reported that the Blues sent the wrong documentation on three separate occasions to leave Ziyech and PSG stranded. Now, football.london understands that, whilst the deal is not dead yet, it is in doubt and Ziyech could return to England after travelling to Paris earlier today.

Writing on Twitter, Salomon wrote: "Basically, Chelsea only had their minds on their purchase of Enzo Fernandez and therefore not necessarily very attentive to the deal with PSG or Ziyech." The Blues successfully managed to reach an agreement with Benfica for a deal worth in the excess of £105million, making the World Cup winner the club's record signing.
It is said that PSG will submit an appeal to the LFP (French governing body) in an attempt to solve the transfer. But as it stands, he looks likely to remain in west London.
The Moroccan has been unsettled in west London for a while now and has failed to hit the same heights achieved at Ajax prior to his 2020 move. Ziyech wanted to leave the club in the summer with AC Milan severely linked, but no move materialised.
After impressing at the World Cup with Morocco, there was optimism that Ziyech could resemble his country's form upon the resumption of domestic football. However, he's struggled for consistency under Graham Potter and will only find himself further down the pecking order due to Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke's arrival.
