Mykhaylo Mudryk will wear the No15 shirt at Chelsea after his move to the Premier League side was confirmed.
Despite the winger being Arsenal’s top target, the Blues were able to swoop and hijack that deal, reaching an £89m agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk to bring Mudryk to Stamford Bridge.
The 22-year-old completed his Chelsea medical on Sunday morning and then watched on from the directors’ box as the Blues played Crystal Palace.
It has been confirmed Mudryk will be the Blues’ new No.15, a number that has been available since Kurt Zouma’s departure. Mohamed Salah, Kevin De Bruyne and Didier Drogba are among those to have worn the shirt for Chelsea in the past.

The Blues’ latest signing has put pen to paper on an eight-and-a-half year contract.
“I’m so happy to sign for Chelsea,” Mudryk told the club’s official website.
“This is a huge club, in a fantastic league and it is a very attractive project for me at this stage of my career. I’m excited to meet my new team-mates and I’m looking forward to working and learning under Graham Potter and his staff.”
