Enzo Maresca says it has proven “impossible” for Chelsea to do their usual training regimes at the Club World Cup, because of the soaring temperatures in the United States.

Chelsea have been battling the American summer heat ever since they turned up for the competition, and players appeared to struggle with the conditions in Friday’s 3-1 defeat to Flamengo.
