Scouts from Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur joined 15 other clubs at the Estádio do Dragão on Friday night to watch Porto's clash with Braga, according to A Bola. The Portuguese giants won 4-1 with goals from Evanilson, Stephen Eustáquio, Pepe and Wenderson Galeno.
However, it's said that neither of the goal scorers were of interest to Graham Potter or Antonio Conte. Last month, the newspaper stated that the Blues made an approach for striker Mehdi Taremi in the final days of the summer transfer window as Todd Boehly looked to bolster the club's frontline following the departures of Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner.
Instead, the west Londoners signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on deadline day. But, with Chelsea in attendance at Porto's latest fixture, it suggests that the Blues are still keen on signing the Iranian talisman.

A Bola, as quoted by the Express, claimed that the west Londoners made contact with the Portuguese side to explore the possibility of completing a move. The Primeira Liga has been a goldmine for 'the next big thing' for some time now, with Chelsea reaping great success from the signings of David Luiz, Ramires, Nemanja Matic and Jose Bosingwa in recent years.
The report adds that Porto baulked at the Blues' advances due to Taremi's importance to the team and the inability to find a replacement so late into the window. The 30-year-old found the net 20 times and recorded 13 assists in just 32 league games last season.
Meanwhile, Tottenham were said to be looking at David Carmo, who was heavily linked with a move to north London ahead of the summer. The 23-year-old, ironically, joined Porto this summer from Braga for around £18million and featured in the side which beat his former club.
A Bola said that Spurs expressed an interest in the versatile defender after he put himself on the radar of a number of top European clubs following a breakthrough campaign. Tottenham were believed to have opened negotiations, but a deal - obviously - failed to materialise.
