The USA qualified for the last 16 of the World Cup on Tuesday thanks to a 1-0 win over Iran. Christian Pulisic scored the only goal of the game, but was also forced to celebrate the win at a nearby hospital.
Finishing off a flowing move at the back post after a knockdown by full-back Sergino Dest, Pulisic scored a potentially huge goal for his nation. The Chelsea star suffered some pain and required treatment after colliding with Iran keeper Alireza Beiranvand, but returned to action shortly after and finished the first half.
However, he didn't appear after the break and instead went to undergo scans at a nearby hospital, making him a major doubt for Saturday's crucial last 16 clash with the Netherlands.

Despite potentially being injured, Pulisic's teammates and his entire nation are incredibly grateful for his moment of bravery. That much has been emphasised by USMNT midfielder Kellyn Acosta.
"It [the goal] just shows his bravery," he said, as cited by GOAL. "You just want it so bad. I'm glad that he was finally rewarded with a goal. I know he's super-hungry in front of the net. Knowing Christian, he's tough as nails."
Captain Tyler Adams also joined in with the praise, as he said: "It goes like that in his career.
"Back-post arriving, he's brilliant in that way with the time he is in the box to get in front of that ball. He'll do anything for his team in order for us to win. He's a huge player for us."
Pulisic's World Cup performances have seen him linked with the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Newcastle in recent days. Graham Potter, though, will be watching him closely as he sums up whether he's a crucial part of the next Chelsea era or not.
His determination in national team colours is sure to help his Blues cause, but with just 18 months left on his contract, the club have a big decision to make this January.
