Chelsea 2022/23 home and away kits 'leaked' ahead of official release and USA pre-season tour

Chelsea's 2022/23 home and away kit has been 'leaked' on social media ahead of the club's official release and launch date.

The Blues' kit will be manufactured by Nike once again, with Three returning as the club's official shirt sponsor. The company asked to be removed from the strip last season but will remain on the Chelsea shirt following Todd Boehly's £4.25billion takeover at Stamford Bridge.

Thomas Tuchel's side travel to America later this week for their pre-season tour this summer. The 2022/23 kits are likely to make their debuts whilst the club tour the US, with games against Club America, Charlotte FC and Arsenal set to be played later this month.

According to FootyHeadlines and Esvaphane, both the home and away kits for Chelsea next season have been leaked ahead of their official launch by the club. The home strip reportedly has a white buttoned collar with a plain dark blue torso, whilst the away kit features a horizontal light blue stripe pattern with navy trim and white torso.

Following the reopening of the Chelsea megastore at Stamford Bridge, fans will be able to head down to the ground and purchase the new 2022/23 kits once they are officially released by the club. The Blues are expected to release the 2022/23 kits in the coming days.

Looking at Chelsea's pre-season fixtures, the earliest fans may see the new kits in action is in their game against Club America on Sunday, July 17. Tuchel's side then take on Charlotte FC just three days later before facing London rivals Arsenal in Orlando on Saturday, July 23.

It remains to be seen if these images turn out to be true, while the club prepares official announcements on their new kits.
