Cheeky tot wipes out baby monitor with single throw - leaving mum in stitches

A sharpshooting toddler has seemingly proved he's tired of his mum and dad watching his every move, as he managed to knock over the baby monitor in his room with a single throw of his toy.

Casey and Jon Waller had put their two-year-old son Jase Waller to bed for the night when they went to check the baby monitor to make sure he was sleeping soundly and found it had fallen from its usual spot.

And when the couple went to review the footage to find out what had happened, they made a hilarious discovery - as the recording showed little Jase rummaging around in his crib to find a toy that resembled a ball and launching it and the monitor, immediately knocking it over.

Stay-at-home-dad Jon then went back into his son's room to reposition the monitor, but footage once again showed Jase unleashing his sharpshooting abilities to knock the camera over for a second time.

Now, 30-year-old mum Casey has said she's been forced to tape the monitor down to keep it firmly in place and safe from Jase's perfect aim.

The nurse, from Tupelo, Mississippi, US, said: "I guess he just wanted some privacy and time in his room by himself. It was hilarious to watch it back.

"My husband had to go back in there to put it back up and he knocked it over again that night and the next day so we have it taped down now so when he throws stuff it doesn't go anywhere."

Casey claims Jase has always been fond of throwing balls and thinks he could even have a future as a baseball star.

She added: "Everyone just thought it was hilarious and a lot of people said the same thing - 'Oh, he's going to be a baseball star'.

"He's been throwing a ball since he could crawl. He loves footballs, basketballs, baseballs - ever since he was young that's the only toy we could get him to play with, just balls."

The mum posted the clip of Jase's accurate throw on social media, where it racked up more than 250 likes and comments.

And Casey admitted she and her husband were left in stitches by her son's actions.

She explained: "I was at work and noticed that his camera was upside down so I scrolled back and was like 'what's going on?'

"He had taken one of his toys and thrown it directly at it, just the first hit.

"My husband was actually looking at him at the time it happened. Whenever it's on, the camera has a little light so I guess he saw the light and that we were watching him.

"I don't know what he was thinking but it was funny."
