KOLKATA: The Indian women’s hockey team was handed a huge blow ahead of their Olympic Qualifiers in Ranchi as Vandana Katariya has been ruled out of the tournament with injury.
The senior-most player in the team, who recently played her 300th international match during Asian Champions Trophy in Ranchi last year, fractured her cheekbone during a training session and has been replaced by Baljeet Kaur.
