'Cheat code' - Man City fans predict Kevin de Bruyne 'three-peat' after stunning goal vs Burnley

Manchester City reclaimed the Premier League top spot from Liverpool with a 2-0 win at Burnley on Saturday, which saw Pep Guardiola's side kicking things off in the most City way possible.

It took City just five minutes to find a way through the hosts' 11-man defence, with Kevin de Bruyne's rifled strike showcasing many of the techniques the Blues use to break down defensive blocks.

Six City players occupied Burnley's back four thus creating a numerical advantage, meaning that as City switched the ball from flank to flank, gaps started to appear. Eventually the ball came out to Rodri who chipped a brilliant ball out to Raheem Sterling on the right, who cushioned the ball down to De Bruyne with his first touch.

The Belgian emphatically slammed the ball into the top corner and City were ahead. It was De Bruyne's tenth Premier League goal of the season - no other midfielder in the league has reached that mark this campaign - and it had City fans purring online.
