Petrol and diesel prices saw a reduction last week following Rishi Sunak's announcement that he would cut fuel duty by 5p. Allowing for VAT, this meant 6p off of prices at the forecourt.
Despite the cut, due to rising fuel prices and the increase in energy prices, forecourt prices have skyrocketed since the turn of the year. We have collected fuel prices across Merseyside to show where is cheapest to by petrol and diesel today.
