It’s less than five weeks until Christmas which means you're well within your rights to pop open the seal on those festive chocolate tubs and pinch all the best ones. We'd totally do the same.
Many shoppers will be well stuck into their Christmas shopping by now - some even bought and wrapped, while others will be waiting for the third week in December to panic buy. But if you want to pick up a box of Quality Street, this is definitely the week to do it, with more supermarkets than ever offering them at the lowest price we've seen.
In previous weeks, Aldi has been the cheapest place to pick up Quality Street, undercutting competitors and selling them for £3.99.

Money is tighter than ever for many Brits this year, so we’ve been keeping a close eye on supermarket prices in recent weeks, particularly on family festive chocolate boxes like Quality Street, Heroes, Celebrations and Roses, in the run up to December to help you get the best deal.
Big shiny offers and discounts may make you feel as though you're getting the best price, but that's not always the case.
Stores have held a number of deals like Tesco’s two for £7, three cartons for £5 and rollback prices, but these have chopped and changed throughout October, with prices fluctuating up and down. For example, Iceland previously held a two for £8 offer on 600g boxes, but these are now £4.50 each, reduced from a fiver, making them £9 for two - a whole £1 more.
Meanwhile, Ocado previously sold a huge 2kg box of Heroes for the reduced price of £16.50, but it's back up to £23.
We’ve done the maths and discovered that this week, there are more supermarkets offering Quality Street and the likes for a bargain £3.50 - or two for £7.
This week, one of the cheapest place to pick up your Quality Street is Tesco, who have reduced their boxes from £4 to £3.50 for Clubcard holders. The offer was originally only available on Quality Street, but it's since been extended to include Heroes, Celebrations and Roses.
Sainsbury’s have also cut the price of their 600g boxes of Quality Street, Heroes and Roses, as well as the 650g box of Celebrations from £5 to £3.50, rivaling Tesco after being the most expensive place to buy at the end of October. The bonus here is that you don't need a Clubcard, or Nectar card, to get the deal - but we do love a loyalty card, so make sure you scan them at the till where you can.
Morrisons have the most deals on, with each of their offerings reduced in one way or another. In previous weeks, their 600g and 650g boxes have been £4.99, and were then slashed to £4, but this week, they're on two for £7, making them £3.50 each. It does mean you have to buy two boxes though.
Other boxes have been cut from £4 to £3.50, or from £3 to £2, helping keep costs low for shoppers looking to add Christmas treats to their trolley.
Asda have now ditched their £1 cashback reward on their boxes, but their 600g boxes, and 650g of Celebrations are also on two for £7, like Morrisons. In addition, 382g of Quality Street, 357g of Heroes and 370g of Celebrations are all down to £3 from £3.50.
B&M don’t have any deals on this time around, costing £3 for 450g of Quality Street and £8.99 for 900g of Heroes. A box of Celebrations comes in at a fiver, while 900g of Roses is also £8.99.
Elsewhere, Iceland have slashed their 600g boxes from £5 to £4.50. These were previously on two for £8, so the reduction isn’t the best deal they’ve had this season, but still better than full price. The smaller Quality Street cartons remain on a three for £5 offer, though.
So this week, we'd say the best place to pick up your Quality Street is Sainsbury's at £3.50 with no need for a loyalty card, followed by Tesco, where you'll need a Clubcard to get them for £3.50. Asda and Morrisons come in close second with their two for £7 offer, making each family sized box £3.50 each - but it does see shoppers spend more to get the deal.
The individual box offer gives shoppers the opportunity to just pick up the one box if they have a smaller family and don’t fancy doubling up, making it the most affordable choice if you’re buying this week.
Manchester Evening News will be checking back on supermarket deals on Christmas chocolate to help you get the best price in the run up to December, so you always know you’re getting the best price.
