Millions of gamers have counted down the hours to the release of FIFA 23 and they won't have to wait much longer.
The latest edition of the world's best-selling sports game will be available to play from Friday at midnight, though some lucky devils will have got early access.
The game has already seen some teething problems, as the FIFA Ultimate Team Web App crashed just hours after it was launched last week.

It will also be the last time that we see this FIFA game as we know it, as EA's agreement with the organisation ends after FIFA 23, leading to a new EA Sports FC game from 2023 onwards.
But that's for the future. What we're interested in now is how much this year's game will hit us in the pockets, particularly given the tough times in the cost of living crisis.
We took a look at a number of different retailers to see if they A) were stocking the world's most popular football game and B) what price they were selling it for.
For clarity, we're looking at the price of FIFA 23 Standard Edition for the next-gen consoles (the PS5 and the Xbox Series S or X) - take around about €10 off the price if you're looking for the game for the PS4 or Xbox One .
The majority of retailers have set the price mark at €79.99 or above - though Tesco and Argos are advertising that it will cost £64.99 on their website, which converts to around about €71.99.
A cheaper way to get the game (and also early access to it) is if you're signed up for EA Play.
The subscription service for the gaming mogul costs €3.99 a month and gives you an "all-you-can-eat" access to EA's monstrous back catalogue of games and early access for new games.
Crucially, you also get 10 per cent off the purchase of new or future games - which brings the price on the PS5 store or Microsoft Store to €71.99.
Here's the price list at time of writing on Monday, four days before the game is released.
