Fuel prices continue to soar to astronomical heights, as the latest figures suggest yet another record-high.
The latest figures from The RAC suggests that drivers across the country are now paying an average of 190.8p for a litre of petrol, with diesel being 198.5p per litre. It means that it now costs over £100 to fill a family car.
The latest surge in prices has triggered an investigation by the UK's competition watchdog after it found "cause for concern", reports The BBC. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) said they found "significant differences in price" between forecourts in "many rural and urban areas".
