Rent costs are rising all across the UK, particularly for properties in or near to city centres. The price to rent a home in Manchester is now among the highest in the region because of the increasing demand of people wanting to experience life in the city.
The average price of a one-bed flat or apartment is now £944 in the Manchester borough, according to Zoopla's latest rental market report - which has become even less affordable amid the cost of living crisis.

This studio is the cheapest apartment currently up for rent in Manchester. The one-bedroom flat is in a prime city centre location just off Oxford Road.
