Diesel is now at its second-highest monthly average price ever, according to the latest fuel price survey by AA Ireland.
Petrol prices are up 11% on average than October 2021 while diesel is a whopping 30% more expensive. The average price of diesel is now at €2.02 per litre, up 4% on last month, while petrol is at €1.84 per litre.
However, the cheapest diesel prices in Dublin this morning is over 10c cheaper than the national average. The cheapest petrol across the capital is just under 5c cheaper than the national average.

Campus on the East Wall Road in Dublin 3 is the cheapest for diesel with a litre setting you back 189.9c, according to Pumps.ie. Meanwhile, Go at 286 Kylemore Road in Ballyfermot has the cheapest litre of petrol at 179.9c.
