Halloween is fast approaching which means it's nearly that time of year when children and adults alike start the desperate search for a costume.
We looked around Penneys, Lidl, Tesco, Dunnes Stores and Aldi to see what Halloween bargains were in store this year and we weren't disappointed.
From decorations to costumes to face paints, here are some cheap and terrifying Halloween costumes you can pick up with some from as little as €2.
Lidl
Lidl are selling a number of kids Halloween costumes this year, including a Dracula cape or little witch dress, for €4.99 and they will be in stores from October 6.
A kid’s trick-or-treat bag is also available for only 99c.

There is something for adults too, with the ladies' Halloween wig only €3.99, also in stores from October 6.
And to spook out any trick-or-treaters that come knocking, the light-up floating ghost decoration is going for €6.99.
Tesco
Kids Halloween costumes in Tesco including dinosaurs, Dracula and a skeleton are available for as little as €11.50.
Fake Blood is available for only €2, along with other spooky accessories. A kids witch cape is €8 and a crooked witches broom is €5.
They also have some scary options for adults with masks or a hooded cape selling for €12
Dunnes Stores
Dunnes Stores has an extensive range of kid’s Halloween costumes for kids aged between 2 to 14 years old - which are a little more on the pricey side.
Their Elsa Frozen Costume, for ages 3 to 8 years, is available in store or online for €18.
For any mini-superheros in your house the Superman, Spiderman or Wonder Woman costumes, for kids aged up to 8 years, are also selling for €18.
The Harry Potter Costume is also available for €18.
On the cheaper end, Dunnes has a collection of kid’s spooky masks starting at €5.
Penney's
Penney's have some adorable kids' Halloween costumes this year which they say are "too cute to spook".
Prices start from just €4 for a bat purple headband. Paired with that is an orange pumpkin tutu dress for €13.
For babies and toddlers, there are some adorable bodysuits to pop your little one into, including a pumpkin plush or a ghost plush on sale for €16.
Aldi
Aldi’s Halloween range has already been marked down from €6.99 to just €4.99.
Parents can pick up a skeleton costume, a werewolf zombie costume or even a creepy clown halloween costume for their kids in store.
And for anyone looking to carve their own pumpkin decorations, a small pumpkin in Aldi is going for only €1.29 with the largest ‘monster’ pumpkin for €4.49.
