Chasers nightclub in Kingswood has revealed the date it will be welcoming back partygoers after it has been shut for most of this year. The nightclub has announced it is "coming back for good" after it shocked the community with its sudden closure in January.
The club on Regent Street, and its associated bar The Chase Inn, announced they would both be shut for the "near future" at the beginning of the year. The owners shared the reopening plans for both venues at the end of March and thanked the community for its support to allow them to "continue to be Kingswood's largest music venue".
In a statement released on its Facebook page, the family-run nightclub announced its reopening night will be held on Friday, September 9 at 10pm until 3am. Tickets will only be available on the door at £5 before 12am and £6 thereafter.

Back in August, Chasers teased that it would be returning soon, and stated that "transforming the building and the business into something special takes time" but they "can't wait to open the doors". The club has been working hard to upgrade the site to make it the "best environment" it can offer clubgoers.

The nightclub's statement read: "Chasers, the centre of Kingswood’s night life, has been owned by the same family since 1980. With a new generation of customers, Chasers nightclub deserved a fresh start with a new operator to bring Chasers back to being a family run venue.
"With upgrades to our aircon, cellar, ventilation, audio, decor, CCTV, security, fire safety, electronics and lighting; our goal is to make Chasers the best environment we can for our patrons."
The huge news has been well-received among clubgoers who are anticipating its return next week. Rhian Long commented that they "loved this venue" while Shawn Robbins called for a "reunion at chasers".
Chasers on 63-65 Regent St, Bristol will be reopening on September 9 from 10pm until 3am
